The Bachelor of Industrial Technology Center and Services (CBTis) 117, is an educational institution of higher average level in Ciudad Cuauhtemoc, Chihuahua, was founded in August 1978 (25 years of service) under the name of CECyT 413. In the beginning had a staff of 2 managers, 11 teachers and four people serving as administrative. Professional technical courses offered in accounting and internal combustion engines and Electromechanical, and the Technical High School with the specialties of Electromechanics, Accounting and internal combustion engines, it had a school population of 254 students, divided into six groups of the afternoon shift . The first generation had a completion rate of 48%. Because of its wide acceptance by the community and educational preference became a prestigious academic institution in the region, this growth resulted meet needs of both service and administrative, giving rise to the emergence of extensions located in La Junta, Chihuahua, San Juanito Bocoyna Township and the Col. Oscar Soto Maynez, the latter being the only extension in service today. The Open System of Industrial Technology Education (Saetia) is another service available to the campus, in this system is offered in Accounting. When XXII generations have graduated over 5500 students of which 90% of the graduates continued their studies at the professional level.
